New version of Open LiteBox (3.62), the universal DICOM viewer and importer

The new version of Open LiteBox is now available. The main enhancement is the support of iSite discs.

Import of iSite CDs

The main new feature in this version is the ability to import iSite CDs. This feature is especially useful to healthcare institutions throughout the United States. No other DICOM viewers in the marketplace can read these CDs (except those embedded on the CDs). With this version of Open LiteBox the import failure rate is virtually zero for iSite and Amicas discs.

Instant Access to Images with Presentation States

No more time wasted scrolling images in a series to find images with graphic annotations. Open LiteBox now includes a feature that make it possible to directly access images with presentation states that contain graphic annotations.

Export of Video Sequences

There is a continuously increasing demand for a DICOM universal viewer that can play "Visible Light" video files (endoscopy, surgery, speech pathology...). With Open LiteBox physicians can not only view VL video files but also do video editing, and export a portion of a video in a multimedia format for reuse in teaching material, staff meetings...

Optimized Use of Annotation Tools

Users can now customize the default behavior of the annotation tools. It is now possible to:

- Add several successive annotations without reselecting the same tool each time.
- Specify if a default label should display when adding a new annotation.
